ONLY thing that stopped my dog from digging!! Life saver, he only went up the fence once and doesn't get close to it anymore unless he's trying to run the fence with my other dog sometimes he'll get an occasional buzz

I would highly recommend renting a cable trencher when installing. I installed 700' of wire in about 25 minutes. hook up was easy. Our dog already knows the boundary after 2 times of walking her around the yard.

I bought this for my 15 week old boarder collie. It does the job, however he is a spunky, hyper dog and will run through if he decides whats on the other side is worth the pain (only for cats, not even food, just cats). It does shock him, so it is not the fence. It does not continue to shock once they have crossed the fence, so if you have a dog that may decide the pain is worth getting across, then you may want to get the more expensive one.
