My husband installed this fence easily. Our dog learned quickly where the boundaries are and we have no issues letting him outside now. We were able to get rid of the flags after only a month, probably could have done it sooner, but we wanted to make sure he knew his boundary. Our dog was still a puppy, about 7-8 months old when we started training him. He learned really fast and we didn't have any problems training him. Do yourself a favor and rent a lawn edger or something similar. Dug out a perimeter on our 2 acres in 30 mins. Ran the wire and hooked it up. Works great, no more roaming dogs throughout the neighborhood.

Works great! I have a fenced in yard, so didn't need to bury the wire. But now my huge dog no longer digs out, jumps over, or chews his way out! Love it!
