We have two dogs and bought the collar that could control two collars. My dogs growl at each other and so I wanted to be able to switch. Ack and forth from dog to dog from one controller easily. This is no a quick and easy function with this receiver. You have to circular rotate one knob while pushing another button. This controller is capable of controlling 4 collars. So it is hard to just stay between dog one and dog two while trying to go back and forth for training. Same with changing the level of shock and vibration. It isn’t a quick transition. The vibration is strong. The shock is strong. It can go up to level 100 shock. I tried one on my leg and it hurt pretty bad. I actually never shocked my dogs but I was not worried about the shock being able to go through their thick, furry, fatty necks. Definitely start low with the shock and work your way up. I couldn’t believe how bad level one hurt when we tried it. I am not sure if we will be keeping this. With practice I’m sure changing the level of shock strength and switching dogs would become easier. ...

If you are looking for an affordable training collar that makes a difference, I highly suggest you give this a try. We have been struggling with training our dog to walk without pulling when he sees another dog (he gets so excited and wants to run up to all the dogs and practically chokes himself in the process). He’s a lab and when he has something set in his sights, he’s very hard to bring back to focus. This collar enabled us to use the buzz or even the beep settings to get his attention again and he has responded so well to it! We are still working on the shock setting and if we will use it. But the fact we have two other attention grabbing settings that make a difference in his demeanor is so great. We were hesitant with this purchase initially, but we are so glad we did it. ...

Things I really like about this product are how much you can customize everything and how affordable it is compared to competing products. I was using Sport Dog which was fine but limited in customization. This system can be customized to whatever sensation you need (sound, vibration, shock). The price was about a third of the Sport Dog system it replaced. I really like how I can see the battery level for the transmitter and collars on the transmitter screen. Please do follow the instructions on setting the shock level which goes from 1-99. I set mine at 4 for my dogs (Brittanys so they're smaller) and that seems to be plenty. Speaking of that, the instructions are easy to follow and aimed very much at making sure you use it appropriately with your dog.Minor complaints: I bought the two dog model but only got one charger to charge the collar and transmitter. I can live with that. Switching between dogs requires a step more than you’d want in a hurry but it's seldom that both of my dogs need corrections at the same time so I can live with that as well. I doubt that I'll ever need to shock my dogs because the vibration mode is pretty robust, but someone with a new dog may need that. Would definitely recommend. ...

I an really impressed with this dog training collar. It has the setting sound, vibrate and shock. I love that I have the option to get my dogs attention without having to use the dock. But it is nice knowing the dock is available in case I need to do a major behavioral adjustment. My dog responds very well to the sound and we saw immediate results from using the training collar. It gets fantastic range and is very well made and durable. I am very happy with this purchase

For the money and you get 2 collars it is awesome. Works well with my 2 = 80 pound dogs. Comes paired already. Like that the charger attaches via a magnet and not inserted into the collar. Makes it pretty easy along with the fact that the cord will charge 1 collar and the hand held remote at the same time.Overall a good unit.
