I bought this to help in training my almost 8 month old golden retriever. It has been wonderful! I mainly use it to keep her from chewing on my family members and me. She is still in the puppy biting stage, but all I have to do is use the beeper feature and she stops. I only use the shock feature for big infractions such as getting after the Christmas tree. It's been a life changer as far as dealing with Sophie's puppy biting.

This NVK dog training collar has been a game changer. Within 2 days my pup Frankie has stopped his annoying barking. I love the various settings. Now just the beep is enough to correct his behavior. I wish I’d tried this before spending hundreds of dollars on pinch collars, trainers, whistles, and various leashes. I highly recommend, and I already have, this collar to anyone who wants to safely train their pet.

As we usually have the remote control in our pocket, I love having the lock feature and the long battery life. 50% static was sufficient to get my dogs attention and love that you can use the vibration at various settings and noise to simply worn the dog without shock. Excellent product!

I have used training collars in the past. This one is inexpensive and easy to set up. The collar is adjustable and fits my dog nicely. It has helped to break her of some bad habits.
