If you are looking for an affordable training collar that makes a difference, I highly suggest you give this a try. We have been struggling with training our dog to walk without pulling when he sees another dog (he gets so excited and wants to run up to all the dogs and practically chokes himself in the process). He’s a lab and when he has something set in his sights, he’s very hard to bring back to focus. This collar enabled us to use the buzz or even the beep settings to get his attention again and he has responded so well to it! We are still working on the shock setting and if we will use it. But the fact we have two other attention grabbing settings that make a difference in his demeanor is so great. We were hesitant with this purchase initially, but we are so glad we did it.
