This works great. I have a pit who liked to jump the fence. She no longer does. I ran the wire on top and along the bottom of a 4ft chain link fence and had no problems with the signal working. The wire got broke a couple of times. But I simply repaired with electrical tape. The wire it comes with is a bit small but still works. I keep the collar on my dog all the time and so far the battery is still good. It states that the battery only wears down with constant shock. But she only gets shocked when she gets too close to the fence (about 2-3 ft). You can also adjust the shock level according to the size of your dog. I love it and would totally recommend this.
